TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Sophomore Danielle Lemek (Doniphan, Neb./Doniphan-Trumbull) is alone in second at the Indiana State Invitational, one shot off the lead, and the Bradley women's golf team is sixth overall after Sunday's opening round in the team's final outing before next week's Missouri Valley Conference Championship.

Lemek carded a two-over 74 at the par-72 Country Club of Terre Haute for her team-best 21st sub-80 round of the year and is one shot behind individual leader Myriam Hassan (73) of William Woods.  She will enter Monday's final round looking to post her 13th consecutive top-20 finish dating back to last season.

Fellow sophomore Jenna Roadley (Winnipeg, Manitoba/Sturgeon Heights) is one shot out of the top 10 after an opening round 79 to finish the day tied for 13th, while sophomore Allison Walsh (Mt. Prospect, Ill./Mt. Prospect) shot an 81 to finish Sunday one shot from the top 20 in a tie for 23rd. 

Freshman Paige Jordan (St. Charles, Ill./St. Charles East) is tied for 43rd after shooting 86 and junior Katarina Mangieri (Galesburg, Ill./Galesburg) rounds out the scoring for Bradley in a tie for 53rd (90).

William Woods shot 312 and has a one-shot lead on the field.  Tournament-host Indiana State is second in the team standings, one shot back at 313 with Drake finishing the day in third (316).  Missouri Valley Conference rivals Northern Iowa and Evansville are one shot ahead of the Braves in a tie for fourth at 319 after one round.

Bradley finished the day in sixth at 320 and the Braves were one shot better than Valley foe Loyola, which is seventh (321).  SIU Edwardsville will open Monday's final round in eighth (322) and Eastern Illinois completes the field in ninth (334).

Monday's final round at the Indiana State Invitational is scheduled to tee off at 10 a.m. (CDT).
