PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley men's and women's track and field team were both named United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Teams, according to an announcement by the USTFCCCA.
The Bradley men's track and field team earned the distinction for the third consecutive year, while the women's squad was one of the nation's top academic teams for the 13th consecutive year. The women's team has won UTSFCCCA All-Academic honors each of the 13 years of the award and is one of only 14 teams in the country to have received the honor at least 11 times in the last 12 years.
In addition to the team awards, senior Sarah McMahon (Colfax, Wis./Colfax) and junior Kristen Busch (Waterloo, Ill./Freeburg) were named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team. To earn All-Academic individual honors, student-athletes must own a 3.25 cumulative grade point average along with ranking in the national top 96 in an individual event during the indoor season or participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Championship during the outdoor season.
