NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - With the early evening temperature still in triple digits, Cal State Northridge (3-3-0) needed triple digits of game time to pull out a 1-0 win against Bradley (1-4-0) Sunday at Matador Soccer Field.

Sagi Lev-Ari scored his fifth goal of the season in the 101st minute for the golden winner, spoiling a stellar debut by Bradley keeper Logan Ketterer. The third-year sophomore made his first career appearance Sunday and made five saves through the first 100 minutes of action, before surrendering the game-winner.

After Bradley outshot the home squad, 7-4, in the first half, the Matadors dominated the remaining 56 minutes by outshooting the Braves, 23-4, after halftime.

Despite the disparity, Bradley very nearly got the game-winner early in the first overtime when Christian Okeke's shot squirted through CSUN keeper Adam Hobbs, who recovered in time to dive on the ball on the goal line. Hobbs finished the night with three saves to earn the shutout victory.

Bradley, which saw its losing streak reach four games, was shutout for the first time in 12 games, dating to a 1-0 home loss to Missouri State Nov. 2, 2013 at Shea Stadium. Bradley had not been blanked away from Shea Stadium since a 1-0 loss at Creighton Oct. 20, 2012, a streak of 15 consecutive games away from home.

The Braves will remain on the road for their next four games, continuing their travels next weekend at Evansville's Aces ProRehab Classic, where Bradley will face Marshall Friday (5 p.m.) and Mercer Sunday (1:30 p.m.) at McCutchan Stadium. Mercer is coached by former Bradley Associate Head Coach Brad Ruzzo.
