Facing An Old Friend
•  The Bradley Soccer program will face an old friend Sunday when the Braves take on Mercer in the second day of Evansville's Aces ProRehab Classic.
•  The Bears are led by Brad Ruzzo, who is in his seventh year as the head coach at Mercer and has climbed to third on the program's all-time wins list.
•  Ruzzo was associate head coach at Bradley from 2000-07, an eight-year run that saw the Braves win four Missouri Valley Conference championships and advance to four NCAA Tournaments, capped by a run to the 2007 NCAA Tournament Elite Eight in his final season.

Series History
•  Sunday's game will be the second meeting in the all-time series between the Braves and Bears.
•  Bradley earned a 3-0 victory in the first matchup between Braves head coach Jim DeRose and his former assistant, Brad Ruzzo, Sept. 6, 2009 at Shea Stadium.
•  Sunday's game will be Bradley's first against Mercer since the Bears moved from the Atlantic Sun to the Southern Conference.
•  Bradley is 1-1-1 all-time against the current Southern Conference membership, but only the 2002 scoreless draw against Furman at Notre Dame's tournament was played against a team that was a member of the SoCon at the time.
•  In addition to the two Mercer and Furman games, Bradley suffered a 2-1 loss to East Tennessee State in the 2010 Evansville Aces ProRehab Classic.
