PEORIA, Ill. -- Sophomore goalkeeper Logan Ketterer (Racine, Wis./The Prairie School) has been named the Bradley Country Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week after helping the Bradley soccer team win the Evansville Aces ProRehab Classic last weekend.
Ketterer, who was named the Missouri Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week, made three saves in Friday's 4-0 victory against Marshall, then added six saves in Sunday's 2-1 win against Mercer. The Aces ProRehab Classic Defensive MVP, Ketterer is 2-1 with a 0.64 goals against average this season. An accounting major, Ketterer owns a 3.50 cumulative grade point average.
Each week, a Bradley student-athlete is selected as the Country Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week. The individual chosen must be at least a sophomore in class standing and boast a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average, while displaying a level of athletic excellence.
Ketterer and the Bradley soccer team open Missouri Valley Conference play Saturday in Chicago, Ill., with a 7 p.m. match at Loyola.
