QUICK OVERVIEW
The Missouri Valley Conference home finale will have championship implications for both Bradley and SIU Edwardsville, when the two teams meet at 7 p.m. Saturday at Shea Stadium ... For Bradley, a win in either of its final two games versus SIUE OR Nov. 7 at Drake will clinch at least a share of its fifth Valley regular-season title ... The Cougars can pull into a tie atop the league standings with Bradley, and potentially Drake (at Loyola), with a win Saturday ... The Braves have started 4-0-0 in The Valley for the first time in 25 league seasons and the Braves will be trying for just the third 5-game MVC winning streak in program history.

SERIES HISTORY

Saturday's game will be the 16th meeting in the all-time series between Bradley and SIU Edwardsville, which dates back to a 5-2 Cougars victory Sept. 22, 1989 in Edwardsville ... The teams have split the seven previous meetings in Peoria, 3-3-1, though Bradley does own a slim 2-1-1 advantage in the four previous contests at Shea Stadium ... SIUE owns a 4-3-1 edge against Bradley since joining The Valley as a men's soccer affiliate in 2010 ... The teams have faced off three times in the postseason, beginning with Bradley's shootout victory against the Cougars in the 2010 MVC title game ... Most-recently, SIUE earned a 2-1 win against the Braves in the semifinals of the 2014 touranment at Shea Stadium, then knocked off Missouri State in the championship game.
