PEORIA, Ill. -- After posting a 52-38 victory against McKendree Sunday afternoon, the Bradley women's basketball team will take the court at Renaissance Coliseum for one last exhibition contest Saturday when the Braves host Missouri-St. Louis at 2 p.m.
Bradley had a slow start to Sunday's win over McKendree, making 2-of-20 from the field to start. The Braves warmed up in the second quarter and went on to make 19-of-41 shots over the final three quarters en route to a 52-38 victory. Bradley has won 20 consecutive exhibition games and is a perfect 19-0 when playing collegiate teams in exhibition contests.
Tickets for Saturday's exhibition game are $8 for adults and $4 for faculty/staff and children. Little Braves Club members receive free admission to all Bradley women's basketball teams. Bradley has never faced Missouri-St. Louis in an exhibition game, but the Braves won each of the three previous regular-season meetings. All three games in the series were played in Chicago, with Bradley topping the Tritons 99-82 in the last meeting back on Dec. 4, 1981.
UMSL returns two starters and a total of six letterwinners from last year's team which finished 14-14 overall and posted a 9-9 record in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Tritons averaged 6.2 three-pointers per game in 2014-15.

Junior Whitney Tinjum (Stacy, Minn./Chisago Lakes/Washington State) had game highs of 12 points and nine rebounds to lead three Bradley players in the exhibition opener. Sophomore Tamya Sims (Milwaukee, Wis./Oak Creek) had one block, one steal and scored 11 points on a perfect 4-for-4 shooting in 18 minutes of action, while fellow sophomore Anneke Schlueter (Ulm, Germany/Max-Weber-Schule) hit a pair of three-opinters and scored 10 points.
Sunday's exhibition opener also marked the first appearance in a Bradley uniform for Ohio transfer Kat Yelle (Geneva, Ill./Geneva/Ohio), who had six assists and six steals as she helped the Braves force 35 McKendree turnovers.
The Braves will open the regular season schedule Friday, Nov. 13 at Detroit (6 p.m. CST).
