ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Junior Danielle Lemek (Doniphan, Neb./Doniphan-Trumbull) has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for the fourth time this season and school-record 14th time in her career according to an announcement by the league office Wednesday.

Lemek picked up her 19th consecutive top-20 finish, tying for 12th at the rain-shortened Amelia Island Intercollegiate in Fernandina Beach, Fla., earlier this week.  She posted rounds of 74 and 73 at the par-72 Amelia National Golf Club Monday and was tied for 12th after 36 holes.  Rain on Tuesday forced the cancellation of the final round as Lemek finished one shot out of the top 10 and just three back of the top three in the field.

Lemek extended her streak of consecutive sub-80 rounds to a career-best 21, three short of the longest streak in program history as she helped the Bradley women's golf team tie with tournament-host Jacksonville for 10th in the field in the first outing of the spring for the Braves.

The MVC Golfer of the Week selection was Lemek's 14th career selection.  She is second in league history with 14 career MVC Golfer of the Week honors, trailing only Illinois State's Samantha Richdale who won the award 17 times between 2002-03 and 2005-06.

Lemek and the Bradley women's golf team is back in action March 13-15 at the Rio Verde Invitational in Rio Verde, Ariz.
