PEORIA, Ill. - Two ground-breaking soccer players and a history-making team have been elected to the Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame and will be inducted as the Class of 2015 during festivites surrounding the men's basketball team's regular-season finale Feb. 27-28.

This year's induction class includes the 1998 Women's Cross Country Team, which won a share of the Missouri Valley Conference championship to become the first women's team in school history to win a league title, soccer All-American goalkeeper Adam Gross and former soccer player Brian Remedi, whose postgraduate career has led him to the Chief Administrative Officer for the United States Soccer Federation.

The induction class will be the featured guests at the year's final Braves Club Game Day Luncheon, presented by Herget Bank, Feb. 27 at Renaissance Coliseum. The group officially will be inducted into the Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame during halftime of the men's basketball regular-season finale Feb. 28 at Carver Arena.

Tickets for each of the two remaining Braves Club Game Day Luncheons are $20 for Braves Club members, $25 for the general public and may be reserved by contacting the Braves Club Office at (309) 677-2667. The Feb. 28 men's basketball game versus Indiana State will tip off at 1 p.m. at Carver Arena. Game tickets start for as low as $8 and may be purchased in advance at the Bradley Athletics Ticket Office (309-677-2625) at Renaissance Coliseum or online at BradleyBraves.com.

1998 Women's Cross Country Team
Running at Newman Golf Course, the Braves tied Drake with 76 points to earn a share of the 1998 Missouri Valley Conference Women's Cross Country Championship and the first conference title for any women's program in Bradley Athletics history. The Braves, who posted an 11-3 record in dual scoring events during the season, went on to finish sixth (among 23 teams) at the NCAA Midwest Regionals, the program's best regional showing until the 2014 squad finished third.

Adam Gross, Soccer (1997-2000) | Winchester, Ky. (Clark H.S.)
A three-year starter at goalkeeper, Gross was the 1998 Missouri Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year and a third-team All-American by CollegeSoccerOnline the same year after helping Bradley to its first-ever MVC regular-season championship. His 126 saves in 1998 remain the fourth-best single-season total in Valley history and he still owns the single-season school records for saves percentage (.906) and goals against average (0.69), both set during the 1998 championship campaign.

Also a first-eam MVC Scholar-Athlete in 1998, Gross was a three-time all-conference performer on the field and he was a NSCAA All-Midwest Region second team selection in 2000 after helping the Braves to their first-ever NCAA Tournament. That at-large invitation to the 2000 NCAA Tournament was aided in large part by Gross' performance in the MVC Tournament, where he earned all-tournament honors by allowing just one goal in three games, including a 1-0 shutout win against #5 SMU in the semifinals. A six-time MVC Defensive Player of the Week, Gross still owns the school career record with a .820 career saves percentage and his 18.0 career shutouts and 39 goalkeeping victories are third-most in Bradley history.

Brian Remedi, Soccer (1990-93) | Orland Park, Ill. (Carl Sandburg H.S.)
As Chief Administrative Officer for the United States Soccer Federation, Remedi has served as the second-ranking officer for the national team program since 2009. In his position, Remedi helps manage the day-to-day operations for both the U.S. men's and women's soccer national teams, as well as several youth national teams, including marketing, legal matters, administration, player development, coaching and more.

A four-year member of the Bradley Soccer team, Remedi set the school record by starting 76 of the team's 79 total games played from 1990-93 (now eighth with 76 career starts). He was Bradley's team defensive most valuable player in 1991 and the team's most improved player in 1993, finishing his collegiate career with 20 points on six goals and eight assists. Remedi was Bradley's third-leading scorer in 1993 with 14 points on five goals and four assists and was a starter for the program's first double-digit wins team in 1992 (11-7-1), which also tied for second in the Missouri Valley Conference race with the program's only winning conference record (3-2-0) during Bradley's first seven years of Valley membership.

While pursuing his master's degree in English from Bradley, Remedi served as a graduate assistant coach. He joined the USSF staff after earning his master's, serving as a communications officer from 1995-99 and he was the chief communications officer for the men's national team in 1999. Prior to returning to the USSF in 2009, Remedi was on the FIFA marketing staff in Switzerland and worked for a Chicago event management company.
