PEORIA, Ill. -- After opening spring break with the team's annual trip to Arizona for the Rio Verde Invitational, the Bradley women's golf team travels to Florida for the third time in last four tournaments for the Bearcat Spring Classic Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Mission Inn Resort's par-72 Los Colinas Golf Course in Howey-In-The-Hills, Fla.

The end of the Bearcat Classic will mark the halfway point of the spring schedule for the Braves, who opened the spring slate Feb. 23 at the rain-shortened Amelia Island Intercollegiate in Fernandina Beach, Fla.

Joining Bradley in the 17-team field at the Bearcat Classic is Missouri Valley Conference rival Illinois State in addition to in-state foe Northern Illinois.  Memphis is the top ranked team scheduled to compete, checking in at #74 in the latest Golfweek.com rankings.  Florida Atlantic is one four teams from the state of Florida in the field, joining Florida Southern, Jacksonville and Seminole State.  Tournament-host Cincinnati is joined by Central Arkansas, Northern Dakota State, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Southern Miss, UAB, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Winthrop to round out the field.

The three-day, 54-hole tournament opens Friday at 6:30 a.m. (CDT) with tee times and Saturday's second round will also have 6:30 a.m. (CDT) tee times.  Sunday's final round will feature a shotgun start at 7 a.m. (CDT).

Junior Danielle Lemek (Doniphan, Neb./Doniphan-Trumbull) tied for eighth at the Rio Verde Invitational, which concluded Sunday, for her 20th consecutive top-20 finish.  Lemek matched a school record with her 24th consecutive sub-80 round Sunday and is currently tied for third in school history with 71 career rounds in the 70's or better.  She needs three sub-80 rounds to pass for Bari Erais for second in the category and is one top-10 finish from matching Erais' school career mark of 21 career top-10 showings.

Fellow junior Jenna Roadley (Winnipeg, Manitoba/Sturgeon Heights) returned to the lineup after she was limited in the spring opener due to injury to tie for 23rd at Rio Verde.  Roadley, who is second on the team with a 77.41 stroke average, owns a 74.5 average in four rounds this spring.

Freshman Ally Scaccia (Arlington Heights, Ill./Prospect) is second on the squad behind Lemek with 13 rounds in the 70's and is the sixth player in program history to have 13 or more sub-80 rounds as a freshman.  Scaccia has been among Bradley's top three finishers in all seven outings this season.

Junior Allison Walsh (Mt. Prospect, Ill./Mt. Prospect) enters the weekend closing in on 40 career rounds in the 70's and has been one of the team's top three individuals in two of the last three tournament dating back to the fall.

Following the trip to Florida, the Bradley women's golf team will host the Bradley Classic April 3 & 4 at WeaverRidge Golf Course.
