BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Senior Danny Masrin (Palatine, Ill./Jakarta International School) posted his first top-10 finish of the year and the Bradley men's golf tied Xavier and IUPUI for seventh in the final team standings Sunday at the Hoosier Invitational.

Masrin tied for fifth for his first top-10 finish since last year's Missouri Valley Conference Championship, shooting a par 71 at the Indiana University Golf Course in Sunday's final round.  He posted the lowest 54-hole score of his career at 1-under par 212 to finish five shots behind individual medalist Jose Montano of Xavier, who shot a 6-under 207.

Junior Lyle Burns (Mahomet, Ill./Seymour/Parkland) continued his strong play with a 2-under par 69 for the second straight round.  Burns tied for 17th in the field at 217 to finish four shots out of the top 10.  The final round 69 was his fourth round in the last six under 70 and gives him six for the year, one short of the Bradley career mark of seven rounds in the 60's.

Senior Seth Trolia (Mahomet, Ill./Seymour) fired his 100th career sub-80 round with a 79 Sunday.  Trolia used his 21st consecutive round in the 70's or better to tie for 30th overall at 219.

Freshman Matthew Specht (Munster, Ind./Munster) tied for 66th in the field at 228, finishing out the tournament with a 78.  Junior Garrett Cox (Mahomet, Ill./Seymour) carded an 82 Sunday and was 88th overall at 243.

Bradley shot a 297 Sunday to finish in a tie with IUPUI and Xavier for seventh at 876.  Wisconsin won the team title by eight strokes with a 54-hole total of 853, with Cincinnati following in second at 861.  Tournament-host Indiana was third at 867 and Oakland took fourth (871).  Toledo was four shots ahead of the Braves in fifth at 872 and Miami (Ohio) edged Bradley by three shots in sixth (873).

Missouri Valley Conference rival Illinois State was two shots back of Bradley in 10th (878), while the Braves finished three shots better than 11th-place Eastern Michigan (879).  Dayton was 12th in the field at 884, while Western Illinois (13th – 885), Youngstown State (14th – 887), Evansville (15th – 890), Drake (16th – 891) and IPFW (17th – 932) rounded out the field.

Bradley will return to action at the Beu/Mussatto Invitational in Macomb, Ill., April 20 & 21.
