MACOMB, Ill. – Senior Danny Masrin (Palatine, Ill./Jakarta International School) finished third and was one of three Braves to finish in the top six as the Bradley men's golf team placed second at the 43rd annual Beu/Mussatto Invitational Tuesday.
Despite windy conditions at the par-72 Harry Mussatto Golf Course, Bradley turned in the lowest round of the day with a 301 to finish with a three-round total of 895, three shots behind team champion William Woods.
Masrin matched his second round score with a 2-over 74 Tuesday to finish third overall and collect his second straight top-five finish at 220. The 220 was good for third in the field, one shot behind co-medalists David Houlding and Matt Wells of William Woods (219).
Senior Seth Trolia (Mahomet, Ill./Seymour) had the low round of the day for the Braves with a one-over 73 to tie for sixth at 223. Trolia, who posted his team-best fifth top-10 finish of the year, moved into seventh in career rounds played at Bradley at 114 in addition to becoming the first Brave with 28 sub-80 rounds in a season since Andy Mickelson had a school record 32 in 2002-03.
Junior Lyle Burns (Mahomet, Ill./Seymour/Parkland) matched Trolia at 223 to tie for 26th after carding a final round 76 to push his streak of consecutive sub-80 rounds to 11. Fellow junior Garrett Cox (Mahomet, Ill./Seymour) earned his first top-20 finish of the season, shooting a 78 to tie for 13th at 230 and miss a top-10 finish by three shots.

William Woods won the team title by three shots, finishing at 892, to edge out second-place Bradley (895). Indian Hills was third at 910, with IUPUI taking fourth (917) and Nebraska-Omaha rounding out the top half of the field in fifth (918).
