KALAMAZOO, MI - Bradley junior Ariel Dechter rolled to her sixth consecutive win at No. 1 singles, but her victory was the lone point the Braves (6-3) could muster in a 6-1 dual match loss at Western Michigan (7-3) Saturday afternoon at West Hills.

Bradley saw its six-match winning streak come to an end Saturday against a Western Michigan squad that improved to 12-0 all-time against the Braves.

Dechter turned in another impressive performance, however, cruising to a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 1 singles. The straight-sets triumph was her 60th career singles victory, second-most in Bradley history. She also moved into a tie for 10th place in program history with her 13th singles victory as a junior and she took over sole possession of ninth place with her sixth win at No. 1 singles this season.

The Braves will return to action Sunday for a 10 a.m. match against UIC at XS Tennis in Chicago. Bradley is 6-2 all-time against the Flames (2-2), but the schools have not met in women's tennis since UIC's 6-3 victory March 30, 1996 in Chicago.
