ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Senior Jenna Roadley (Winnipeg, Manitoba/Sturgeon Heights) has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week according to an announcement by the league office Wednesday afternoon.

Roadley, who earned MVC Golfer of the Week honors for the first time in her career, turned in the lowest 54-hole total of her career to tie for third overall and help the Bradley women's golf team open its spring schedule with a fifth-place showing at the Amelia Island Intercollegiate. 

She earned her second top-10 finish of the year with a personal best 54-hole total of 218 after shooting a three-over 75 on the final day to pace the Braves.  Roadley had opened tournament play with a season-best 71 and her second round 72 helped Bradley shoot the lowest team score (290) in program history. 

As a team, the Braves turned in the lowest 54-hole score in school history (896) to break the previous mark of 901 at the 2014 Johnie Imes Invitational in Columbia, Mo.  The 16-team field included three teams in the top 85 in the latest golfweek.com rankings, including Campbell (48) and Kennesaw State (84), which both finished one shot ahead of Bradley; along with 71st Memphis, which was 10th in the field.

The MVC Golfer of the Week honor is third this year for the Bradley women's golf team.  Roadley is tied for 10th in career rounds played at Bradley at 97 and is ninth all-time in program history with a 79.39 career stroke average.  She has 48 career sub-80 rounds and is two short of becoming the seventh individual in school history to reach 50. 

The Bradley women's golf team returns to action later this week, taking part in the 14th annual Rio Verde Invitational in Rio Verde, Ariz., Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
