PEORIA, Ill. -- Wednesday's Missouri Valley Conference softball doubleheader between Bradley and I-74 rival Illinois State has been postponed due to expected inclement weather in the Peoria area.  The Braves and Redbirds were scheduled to play a 2 p.m. doubleheader this afternoon at Laura Bradley Park. 

The teams will now play a 2 p.m. doubleheader Thursday, April 21 at Laura Bradley Park as Bradley opens a five-game home stand which includes a three-game weekend series against Southern Illinois. 

Bradley and Illinois State are scheduled to play a 5 p.m. contest in Normal, Ill., on Tuesday, April 26 to wrap up the three-game regular-season series.
