DES MOINES, Iowa – Junior Patrick Campbell (Wauwatosa, Wis./Wauwatosa) ran the 5,000 meters for the first time in two years and clocked a career-best time in the event Thursday night to highlight action for the Bradley men's track & field team at the Drake Relays.

Campbell took 17th in the field with a career-best time of 14:30.67 to top his previous personal best by 13 seconds.  His time is fourth in school history and ranks seventh in the Missouri Valley Conference this spring. 

The Bradley track & field teams will continue competition at the Drake Relays Saturday in addition to running at Saturday's Redhawk Invitational in Oxford, Ohio.
