PEORIA, Ill. -- The 14th annual Braves Club Bids for the Braves auction, presented by Hometown Community Banks and Heritage Bank of Central Illinois, will be held Saturday, Sept. 24 at Renaissance Coliseum.

The theme for the 2016 Bids for the Braves will be Braves on Safari. The Braves Club's premier fundraising event helps provide scholarship and operational support for Bradley University's 200+ student-athletes. Heritage Bank of Central Illinois is a longtime presenting sponsor of the event and that tradition will continue through the merger with Morton Community Bank.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. and the evening's activities will include dinner and cocktails; live and silent auctions; the opportunity to socialize with Bradley student-athletes, coaches and staff; games and prizes; and mobile bidding. Safari-themed clothing is encouraged.
