PEORIA, Ill. -- In addition to holding the Coach G Skill Academy Elite Camp this past weekend, Bradley women's basketball recently held a free skills clinic for area grade school children.

The free clinic, which was open to children in kindergarten through eighth grade, drew approximately 50 participants and featured basketball fun games along with skills related workouts and five-on-five games.  Attendees had a group picture taken at the end of the event along with an autograph session with the 2016-17 Braves.

The Elite Camp featured 75 high school aged participants from nine different states competing in one-on-one, three-on-three and full team competitions in addition to individual skill instruction.

Bradley women's basketball will take part in the annual Red-White Scrimmage Sunday, Oct. 23 at Renaissance Coliseum and will play its lone exhibition game Saturday, Nov. 5 against Missouri-St. Louis.  The Braves will open the regular season Friday, Nov. 11 at Kent State.
