Bradley followed by winning three of the next four meetings, but Western Michigan is working on a 2-game series winning streak ... The Braves are 0-2 all-time at Western Michigan, also dropping a 2-1 decision in Kalamazoo Oct. 14, 2007 ... Bradley rebounded from that 2007 game, however, by riding a 10-1-2 surge to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Men's Soccer Championship.

TOUGH SCHEDULE
Despite fielding the youngest team in the Missouri Valley Conference, Bradley once again is facing one of the league's toughest schedules ... Bradley's 11 non-conference opponents in 2016 enter the weekend having combined for a 51-40-8 (.556) record and nine of the 11 are at least .500 ... The eight non-conference opponents Bradley has faced to date have combined for a 40-28-7 (.580) mark and Western Michigan's 8-2-0 record will improve that non-conference opponent winning percentage ... Overall, the three teams Bradley has played in true road games enter the weekend with a combined 9-2-2 (.769) home record and Western Michigan enters with a 4-0-1 (.900) mark at WMU Soccer Complex ... Including preseason opponent Notre Dame (#1), Bradley's 2016 schedule features five teams that started this week in the top 50 of the NCAA RPI:  Notre Dame, Loyola Chicago (4), Utah Valley (10), San Diego State (T31), Omaha (49).

DEEP BENCH
Through the season's first 10 games, 25 Bradley players have seen action this season, equalling the most of any team in the Missouri Valley Conference this year ... Of those, 24 are field players with keeper Logan Ketterer ... Evansville also has used 25 different players this year, but 23 in the field with two different keepers ... Of the 25 players to see action for the Braves this year, 16 are freshmen (9) are sophomores (7).

RETURNING HOME
As the Braves prepare to wrap up their season-long, 3-game road swing Saturday at Western Michigan, Bradley soon will begin to defend its home field ... The Braves will play five of their final eight regular-season games, including three of the next four, at Shea Stadium ... The Bravaes will start the closing home stretch by hosting defending MVC regular-season champion SIU Edwardsville next Saturday in a 7 p.m. kickoff at Shea Stadium.
