NEW YORK - Goalkeeper Logan Ketterer (Racine, WI/The Prairie School) became the ninth all-time Bradley Soccer player drafted by a Major League Soccer team when he was taken in the fourth round (71st overall) of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft Tuesday by Columbus Crew SC.

Ketterer was the 10th goalkeeper selected in the two-day MLS SuperDraft and he follows Chris Dunsheath (2006) as the second Bradley keeper to be drafted by a MLS squad.  Ketterer also becomes the first-ever Brave selected by Crew SC.  He was one of two MVC picks in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft, joining SIU Edwardsville defender Austin Ledbetter (FC Dallas).

A honorable mention All-Missouri Valley Conference selection each of the last two years, Ketterer also was a two-time Valley Scholar-Athlete for the Braves.  He took over goalkeeper duties midway through the 2014 season and finished his career with a 1.37 goals against average in 51 career games.  The 6-foot-3 netminder ended his career fifth in Bradley history with 12.0 shutouts and sixth with 4,674 career minutes between the pipes.  His 0.92 goals against average in 2014 is the fourth-best single-season average in program history and his run of 352-minutes, 55-seconds without allowing a goal early in the 2015 season is the fifth-longest shutout streak in program history.

Columbus will open its 2017 preseason schedule by participating in the Carolina Challenge in Charleston, SC Feb. 18-25.  Crew SC will kick off the 2017 MLS season by hosting the Chicago Fire March 4.
