2016 PINK CLASSIC RECAP
Last season, Colorado and Saint Louis claimed team titles at the Bradley Pink Classic. The Buffaloes won the women's race with 54 points with Tayler Tuttle making it a sweep for the program by winning the individual crown. On the men's side, the Billikens won the team title with 103 points with Corey Bellemore of Windsor winning the individual crown.

The Bradley women's team finished fourth of 31 schools last year at the meet with Hannah Witczak leading the way and placing 15th overall. The Bradley men sent their top runners to the Pre-National Invitational this weekend a year ago, where they placed eighth of 41 schools.

MVC LOOK-AHEAD
Friday's meet will be the last time most Braves are in action before the Missouri Valley Conference Championship in two weeks' time. The unanimous choice to win the conference title for the third-straight season, the Bradley men remain the highest-ranked MVC team in the regional polls, slotted in at No. 12 this week in the Midwest Region. Indiana State is also ranked in the conference and is 15th in the Great Lakes Region.

On the women's side, Bradley leads a pack of four regionally-ranked schools. The Braves are 11th in the Midwest Region and are immediately followed by preseason co-favorite Northern Iowa (12th), Loyola (13th) and Illinois State (14th). All four schools are competing on Friday.

UP NEXT
The Braves will send a small contingent of runners to the Illini Open next Friday before the MVC Championship in two weeks. The conference title is back on the line on Saturday, Oct. 28 in Springfield, Mo.
