PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Women's Golf will make its first trip to the state of Kansas since claiming the 2006 Missouri Valley Conference Championship in Wichita, Kan., as the Braves wrap up the 2017 Fall schedule Monday and Tuesday at the MVC Preview in Newton, Kan.

All 10 MVC teams along with former Valley rival Wichita State will play in this year's MVC Preview, which will be played Monday and Tuesday at the par-72 Sand Creek Station.  Monday's first two rounds will get underway at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start and Tuesday's final round will also feature an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.  Golfstat.com will provide links to live scoring for the entire 54-hole tournament.

Last year Bradley finished sixth at the MVC Preview only to go on to take third in the 2017 MVC Women's Golf Championship, which was held at Dalhousie Country Club in Cape Girardeau, Mo.  The Braves head into the 2017 MVC Preview as the top rated team in the MVC according to the latest Golfstat.com ratings with Bradley boasting five of the top 10 individuals in the most recent league rankings.

Sophomore Taylor Ledwein was Bradley's top performer at last week's Bettie Lou Evans Invitational in Lexington, Ky., as she tied for 28th (227) in the field to pace the Braves.  Ledwein brings a streak of 19 consecutive sub-80 rounds into the MVC Preview and looks to join former Bradley standouts Danielle Lemek and Kelly Amundrud as the only players in program history with 20 consecutive rounds in the 70's or better.

Junior Frankie Saban has been Bradley's second best finisher in each of the first four tournaments of 2017-18 following a 32nd-place finish (229) at Kentucky.  Saban owns a 75.58 average this fall, which includes a 74.89 average over her last nine rounds.

Senior Ally Scaccia had a streak of 12 consecutive sub-80 rounds snapped last time out, but still boasts a 74.25 stroke average and enters the MVC Preview as the top rated golfer in the MVC according to the Golfstat.com rankings.  Scaccia has been Bradley's top finisher in three of four events this year and six of the last eight dating back to last spring.

Junior Brooke Thompson joins Ledwein as the only Braves to shoot under 80 in all 12 rounds this season and the pair both brings matching 76.00 stroke average into the final tournament of the fall.  Thompson is one sub-80 round from becoming the 22nd player in program history with 25 career rounds in the 70's or better.

Fellow junior Chloe Horton rounds out Bradley's lineup with a 77.25 stroke average which ranks 16th in the Valley and is currently rated 10th in the league according to the latest Golfstat.com individual rankings.  Horton has carded 22 of her 37 career sub-80 rounds during the fall and her 77.88 career average in the fall is nearly two strokes better than her average during the spring semester.

The MVC Preview marks the earliest Bradley will conclude its fall schedule since the 2004-05 season when the Braves played their entire fall slate in the month of September.
