CONWAY, AR - Host Central Arkansas scored less than two minutes into the second half and goalkeeper Marc Olsen made three saves, leading the Bears (6-7-0, 4-1-0 MVC) to a 2-0 Missouri Valley Conference men's soccer victory versus Bradley (8-5-1, 2-2-1 MVC) Saturday afternoon at Stephens Track and Soccer Complex.

The Bears scored both of their goals with headers off restart plays.  Daltyn Knutson flicked in a header from a Jake Bates throw in for the game-winner at 46:57, while Nate Lancaster nodded home a Christian Illa corner kick at the back post for the insureance tally at 66:28.

In the first of two matchups of the Valley rivals this season, UCA finished the game with a 21-8 shots advantage, while also racking up a 12-3 advantage in corner kicks.  The Braves will host UCA in the return game of this season's series Oct. 28 at Shea Stadium.

Bradley, which has posted shutouts in six of its eight home games this season, returns to Shea Stadium to host in-state rival UIC in a 5 p.m. non-conference kickoff Tuesday.  The Braves are 5-0-0 against in-state competition this season, allowing only one goal to Northern Illinois in those five games.
