NEWTON, Kan. -- Three Bradley women's golfers finished in the top 20 at the Missouri Valley Conference Preview paced by senior Ally Scaccia, who tied for 15th, as the Braves tied Indiana State for fifth in the 11-team field in the final event of the fall schedule.

Bradley entered Tuesday's final round at the par-72 Sand Creek Station Golf Course tied with Missouri State for fifth in the team standings and the Braves tied for the fourth-lowest round of the day with a 309 to match Indiana State for fifth overall at 924.

Former MVC member Wichita State and Northern Iowa tied for top team honors at 907, with UNI carding a 10-over 298 on the final day to make up an 11-shot deficit to start the round.  Bradley was just three shots out of the three in the field as Southern Illinois and Missouri State tied for third overall at 921.  Loyola was seven shots behind Bradley in seventh (931) and I-74 rival Illinois State took eighth at 938 in the 11-team field.

While Scaccia was Bradley's top finisher for the fourth time in five fall tournaments, juniors Frankie Saban and Brooke Thompson had the low rounds of the day for the Braves with the pair both firing three-over 75's.  Scaccia shot an 81 Tuesday to tie for 15th at 231 as she missed her third top-10 finish of the year by four strokes.

Saban earned her third top-20 showing of the year, finishing one shot behind Saccia in a tie for 18th at 232 behind her third-round 75.  Sophomore Taylor Ledwein carded her 22nd consecutive sub-80 round with a third-round 79 Tuesday to finish one shot back of Saban in a tie for 20th (233).

Junior Chloe Horton followed up a pair of 77's on Monday with a final round 80 as she tied for 25th in the field at 234.  Thompson wrapped up the team scoring for Bradley in a tie for 36th at 238, matching Saban's final round 75.

Freshman Maddie Hawkins was in the field as an individual and tied for 42nd overall at 242 as she closed out her second collegiate tournament with a final round 80.

The MVC Preview marked the final tournament of the fall season for the Braves, who will open their spring schedule in February.  Scaccia finished the fall season with a team-best 74.80 stroke average and is currently third in school history with 82 career sub-80 rounds, while Saban was second on the squad with a 75.93 average.  Ledwein was the only Bradley player to shoot all 15 fall rounds in the 70's or better and finished the fall with a 76.33 average, which included a 76.00 average over the final 12 rounds.
