NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Another breezy day at the par-71 Richland Country Club made for a difficult afternoon for the Bradley men's golf team as the Braves slipped to 14th in the final team standings at the Ryman Hospitality Intercollegiate Tuesday. 

Sophomore Drake Bushong had the low round of the day for Bradley with a six-over 77 and was one of two Braves to shoot in the 70's in the team's final round before the Missouri Valley Conference Championship later this month.  Bushong's final round 77 was his team-best 31st sub-80 round of the year and helped him tie for 61st overall at 239.

Junior Ethan Brue took top individual honors for Bradley, tying for 40th at 233 after wrapping up the tournament with an 81.  Sophomore Michael Mounce was five shots back of Brue in a tie for 57th at 238 as he closed out play with a third-round 83. 

Junior Matthew Specht had his best round of the tournament with a 78 Tuesday to earn a share of 63rd in the field at 240, one shot back of Bushong.  Fellow junior Zach Jewell rounded out the team scoring for Bradley with an 83 to match his low round of the event and took 79th overall at 252. 

The Braves carded a 219 to finish six shots back of 13th-place USC Upstate (943) in the team standings at 949.  Tournament-host Lipscomb edged 23rd-ranked Ole Miss for the team title by three strokes to claim the team title. 

The MVC Championship will be held April 24 & 25 in Lemont, Ill., at the Cog Hill Country Club.
