PEORIA, Ill. -- Senior runner Patrick Campbell (Wauwatosa, Wis./Wauwatosa) has been named the Bradley COUNTRY Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week after posting a pair of All-Missouri Valley Conference performances at last week's MVC Outdoor Track & Field Championship in Wichita, Kan.

Campbell was third in the 10,000 meter run Friday with a time of 30:36.10 for his fourth All-MVC honor of the year as he paced three Braves in the top eight in the field.  He returned to the track Sunday afternoon to take second in the 5,000 meters with a time of 14:49.73 to help Bradley boast three of the top four in the event.  A political science major, Campbell owns a 3.73 cumulative grade point average.

Each week, a Bradley student-athlete is selected as the COUNTRY Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week.  The individual chosen must be at least a sophomore in class standing and boast a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average, while displaying a level of athletic excellence.

Campbell is likely to be one of several Braves to compete in next week's NCAA West Preliminary in Austin, Texas, May 25-27.
