PEORIA, Ill. -- After winning the team title at the Zach Johnson Invitational earlier this month, Bradley Men's Golf returns to action Monday & Tuesday as the Braves close out the 2018 Fall schedule with the Flyer Invitational in Kettering, Ohio.

Bradley will play in the Flyer Invitational for the first time in five years, with the Braves placing fifth of 16 teams during the 2013 event.  This year's Flyer Invite, which is being held at the par-71 NCR Country Club, features 12 teams including Missouri Valley Conference rival Illinois State.

Joining Bradley and the Redbirds in the field are Horizon League foes Cleveland State, Northern Kentucky, Oakland and Wright State.  A pair of Atlantic 10 Conference squads in tournament-host Dayton and Davidson are slated to compete along with Bowling Green, DePaul, Purdue Fort Wayne and Marshall.

Play at the Flyer Invite gets underway with an 8 a.m. (CDT) shotgun start for Monday's two rounds.  Tuesday's final round will also feature an 8 a.m. (CDT) shotgun start.  BradleyBraves.com will provide links to live scoring (Birdiefire.com) for all three rounds of the event.

Senior Drake Bushong tied for second last time out at the Zach Johnson Invitational in West Des Moines, Iowa, and has placed in the top 10 in each of the last two tournaments.  Bushong enters the final event of the fall with a team-best 72.00 stroke average, which includes a 71.33 average over his last six rounds.  He is three rounds from moving into the top 10 in career rounds played at Bradley and is currently tied with Seth Trolia (2011-15) for the most career rounds in the 70's or better in school history at 104.

Junior Charles Jahn is the only Brave to place among the team's top three in all four events in 2018-19, ranking second on the squad with a 72.33 stroke average.  Jahn was fourth at the Zach Johnson Invitational to earn his first career top-10 finish and has placed in the top 20 in each of the last three tournaments.  He is the only Brave to shoot 75 or better in all 12 rounds this fall.

Senior Daniel Lensing has finished in the top 10 in two of the last three outings, tying for fifth at the Zach Johnson Invite earlier this month.  Owning a 72.50 stroke average on the year, Lensing has posted a team-best 72.11 stroke average over the last nine rounds and has six rounds of 71 or lower this fall.

Fellow senior Michael Mounce has also gotten his final year on The Hilltop off to a strong start, averaging 73.17 per round through four tournaments.  Mounce has average 73.79 per round since the start of the 2018 Spring schedule, more than two strokes better than his average during the 2017 Fall slate.

The Braves will open their spring schedule Feb. 25 & 26 at the Colin Montgomerie Invitational in Spring, Texas.
