EVANSVILLE, IN – Bradley sophomore forward Gerit Wintermeyer (Wiesbaden, Germany) landed on the All-Missouri Valley Conference Men's Soccer First Team, one of four Braves honored Thursday night following a vote of the league's seven head coaches.

In addition to Wintermeyer, sophomore midfielder Younes Dayekh (San Jose, CA/Heritage HS) landed on the Second Team, while seniors Frank Bak (Glenview, IL/Glenbrook South HS) and Austin Bell (Springfield, IL/Rochester HS) earned honorable mention.

Wintermeyer shared the league lead in scoring during the regular-season, pacing the Braves with 20 points and eight goals.  He also led the Braves (8-5-4) with four game-winning goals this season. After just two seasons, Wintermeyer will enter the 2019 campaign as Bradley's active leader with 34 career points.

Dayekh was the 2017 MVC Freshman of the Year and now has earned second-team all-league honors in each of his first two seasons.  He tied for 10th in The Valley in scoring in his sophomore campaign, finishing second for the Braves with eight points and four assists.  Including his game-winning goal this year against Omaha, he will enter the 2019 season as Bradley's active leader with five career game-winning strikes, as well as his seven career assists.

Bak finished second in The Valley with seven assists in 2018 pushing his career total to 14, good for a 10th-place tie on Bradley's all-time assists list.  Bell split his time between forward and defender in 2018, but earned honorable mention all-conference recognition for his work on the back line after moving to the defensive end permanently midway through the year.
