PEORIA, IL -- Bradley Tennis begins its eight-match road swing Saturday afternoon as the team travels to Nebraska to take on Omaha, followed by a Sunday morning match versus Creighton. Saturday's matchup will be the Braves' first meeting with Omaha since 2015 and just the teams' fourth meeting all-time. Bradley will face Creighton for the first time since 2013 on Sunday.

Bradley travels to Omaha with a 3-3 record after opening the dual match season with three consecutive weekend-splits. Junior Malini Wijesinghe will look to continue her strong play after losing just three games in singles play over two matches last Saturday. Her performance earned her Missouri Valley Conference Singles Player of the Week honors. Wijesinghe's doubles partner, senior Alexa Brandt, is 5-1 in singles play for Bradley's dual match season and currently stands at fifth place in career combined wins in program history. Freshman Sandra Maletin joins the upperclassmen in dominant play, taking a 4-2 record in No. 1 singles play with her to Nebraska.

The Braves are 2-1 against Omaha, having won the teams' first and last matchups. In their most recent match in 2015, the Braves swept the Mavericks 7-0 on Omaha's turf.

Bradley holds a 3-20 all-time record against Creighton, but the Braves have not faced the Bluejays since Creighton left the MVC following the 2013 season. Having lost the last six contests dating back to the 2008 MVC Championship, Bradley will seek redemption in the back end of its Omaha road trip.

The weekend starts for Bradley at 2:00 p.m. CT on Saturday at the Miracle Hill Tennis Center when the Braves face Omaha, followed by an 11:00 a.m. match at Creighton on Sunday at the Hanscom Indoor Tennis Center.
