Bradley Softball Adjusts Sunday Schedule

PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley Softball has been forced to adjust its weekend schedule once again following Saturday afternoon's snowfall in the Peoria, Ill., area.

After having its originally scheduled weekend trip to Las Vegas cancelled due to flight cancellations, Bradley had scheduled Sunday home games against in-state foes Illinois-Chicago and SIU Edwardsville at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex. In addition, UIC and SIU Edwardsville were also going to play each other Sunday afternoon.

Sunday's schedule has been altered again, however, with SIU Edwardsville no longer making the trip to Peoria. Instead Bradley and UIC will now play a 1:30 p.m. doubleheader at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex with highs Sunday expected to be near 50 degrees.

Fans attending Sunday's games are encouraged to bring their own chairs.

The games Sunday would mark the earliest outdoor home games in program history and the first outdoor home games in February in program history. Previously, the earliest Bradley had played at home outdoors was a doubleheader against Indiana on March 13, 2002.

The two home games would give the Braves 24 home games this spring, one off matching the most home dates in program history (2009 & 2007).
