Box Score MADISON, WI - Host Wisconsin (5-0) stayed unbeaten on the young season while keeping Bradley (1-2) winless all-time against the Big Ten Conference, earning a 7-0 sweep against the Braves Saturday morning at Nielsen Tennis Stadium.

Saturday's match marked the 2017-18 season debut for senior Alejandra de Lasa (Lima, Peru), who did not play during the fall tournament season, nor last weekend's dual matches, while recovering from a knee injury. De Lasa teamed with freshman Victoria Gonzalez at No. 3 doubles Saturday, but the Bradley tandem dropped a 6-3 decision. The Badgers claimed the day's first point by adding another 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles. The clinching doubles point ended the No. 2 match, which saw the Bradley duo of Alexa Brandt and Malini Wijesinghe trailing 4-3.

Wisconsin quickly secured its fifth dual match win of the season by taking straight-sets victories at Nos. 6, 1 and 2 singles. Brandt and Gonzalez both put up strong fights at Nos. 4 and 5 singles, respectively, both dropping 6-3, 6-4 decisions. Wijesinghe won her first set at No. 3 singles, 7-6, but Kelsey Grambeau rallied for a 3-set win to complete the sweep.

The Braves will try to even their early-season record Sunday when they visit Chicago State, which took a 1-4 record into Saturday's home match versus Illinois State.
