ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- In celebration of the Missouri Valley Conference's 25th anniversary of sponsoring women's sports, the league announced a 10-member Women's Golf 25-Year Team Thursday with former Bradley standouts Danielle Lemek and Meaghan LeBlanc both earning spots on the squad.

Lemek was the top vote getter on the Valley's 25-Year Team and the three-time MVC Golfer of the Year (2016, 2015 & 2014) was a four-time all-conference performer in addition to garnering the 2013 MVC Newcomer of the Year award.  She and LeBlanc are among 11 four-time All-Valley selections and the only four-time all-conference honorees in school history.

Lemek claimed a school record 10 individual medalist titles during her time on The Hilltop, which ranks second in Valley history.  Among her 10 individual medalist wins was the 2014 Missouri Valley Conference individual title.  Lemek received a league record 19 MVC Golfer of the Week awards and her career stroke average of 74.37 is best in conference history.

The 2012-13 Bradley Most Outstanding Female Athlete, Lemek was a three-time First-Team MVC Scholar-Athlete selection.  She holds the top four season stroke averages in school history, including a league record 73.61 season average in 2013-14, in addition to owning three of the top four season stroke averages in MVC history.

Lemek posted a school record 31 top-10 finishes in 46 career events during her Bradley career and owns the top three 54-hole scores in Bradley history.  She also boasts the lowest round in school history (66) and at the time of her graduation had four of the 10 sub-70 rounds in Bradley history.

One of just six two-time MVC Championship medalists in league history, LeBlanc won the Valley's top individual honor in both 2005 and 2006.  The Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame member was named to the MVC All-Centennial Team and was part of two MVC team championships with her freshman (2003) and senior (2006) seasons both resulting in the Braves claiming the Valley team title and subsequent NCAA Regional appearances.

Among the records LeBlanc set during her Bradley career, she matched the then MVC Championship mark with a 54-hole score of 215 as the 2005 medalist (later topped by Lemek) and she owned the top three single-season stroke averages in program history at the time of her graduation, capped by the then-record 76.62 during her senior campaign in 2005-06.  She also set the program's career stroke average record (78.22) and she graduated with Bradley records for individual tournament titles (4), rounds played (103) and sub-80 rounds (66).

LeBlanc also was a three-time Valley Scholar-Athlete and was the first women's golfer in Bradley Athletics history to earn CoSIDA Academic All-District honors.

During the 2017-18 academic year, the Valley is naming 25-Year Anniversary Teams for each of the Valley's sponsored sports. Team composition for each sport has been determined by a 25-person committee (two representatives from each MVC institu¬tion and a panel of five voters from the Conference office) and includes years in which league teams compet¬ed under the MVC umbrella during the past 25 years (1992-2017).

Bradley Women's Golf will play in the 2018 Missouri Valley Conference Championship April 15-17 at Sand Creek Station in Newton, Kan.
