DES MOINES, IA – Victoria Gonzalez completed a perfect weekend at No. 5 Singles by earning a straight-sets victory Sunday, but her point was all Bradley (4-14, 1-3 MVC) could muster as Drake (14-5, 4-0 MVC) earned a 6-1 victory in Missouri Valley Conference women's tennis action Sunday morning at Roger Knapp Tennis Center.

With the win, the Bulldogs clinched at least a share of the MVC regular-season title. Drake swept three tightly-contested doubles matches, then clinched the team victory by winning the first three singles matches to finish.

Gonzalez, who earned her first career MVC victory Saturday at Northern Iowa, put the Braves on the board by taking a 7-5, 6-0 win at No. 5 Singles Sunday.

Bradley will close out the regular season next Sunday, April 22, by hosting Valparaiso in a 10 a.m. Valley dual at the David Markin Tennis Courts. With a win, the Braves would finish no worse than fourth in the final MVC standings.
