Bradley Soccer will prep for the 2018 season by playing two exhibition road games in three days, beginning Thursday at Memphis

MEMPHIS, TN – Before Bradley Soccer opens its regular-season with a rush of home games, the Braves will prepare for the 2018 campaign with two exhibition road games in three days, beginning with Thursday morning's scrimmage against Memphis at Bill J. Murphy Track & Soccer Complex.
 
Following Thursday's 11 a.m. game against the Tigers, Bradley will head east across the Volunteer State for Saturday's noon exhibition at Belmont.  The two exhibitions will serve as tune-ups before the Braves open their 32nd NCAA Division I season for real Aug. 24 by hosting Gonzaga in a 7 p.m. clash at Shea Stadium.
 
EXHIBITION 1 | BRADLEY AT MEMPHIS

Series History:  Bradley owns a 2-1-2 record in the all-time regular-season series against Memphis, though the Tigers earned their lone victory, 1-0, in the last meeting Sept. 16, 2011 at Shea Stadium.  Bradley is 2-0-0 all-time at Memphis, most recently earning a 4-0 victory in the 2008 season-opener.
 
EXHIBITION 2 | BRADLEY AT BELMONT
Date:  Saturday, Aug. 18
Time:  12:00 p.m. CT
Location: Nashville, TN | E.S. Rose Park
Live Coverage:  N/A
Series History:  Bradley is 4-1-0 all-time in regular-season games against Belmont, including 1-1-0 against the Bruins in Nashville.  Since suffering a 1-0 loss at Belmont Sept. 16, 2012, the Braves have won two straight in the series, most recently a 2-1 victory Oct. 28, 2014 at Shea Stadium.
 
HOME HEAVY START
Following the two exhibition games in Tennessee, Bradley will play five of its first six games regular-season games at home, beginning Aug. 24 when the Braves welcome Gonzaga back to Shea Stadium for the third time in four years.  In the first 17 days of the season, Bradley also will host Oral Roberts (Aug. 26), Princeton (Sept. 2) for the annual Danny Dahlquist Memorial Game, Eastern Illinois (Sept. 7) and national-ranked Wisconsin (Sept. 9).
