With more than a decade of championship Division I experience, Daniel Stults is newest member of the Bradley cross country and track & field programs as he joins the Braves as an assistant coach, announced on Thursday.

In his more than 10 seasons on the coaching staff at Oklahoma State and as a student-athlete at Southeast Missouri State, Stults has been a part of two NCAA Championships and 12 conference titles.

"We are thrilled to have Daniel here at Bradley," said Bradley head coach Darren Gauson. "He brings a lot of experience to all facets of the position. Daniel has worked with a phenomenal program at Oklahoma State and I know those experiences and success will be instrumental in advancing our program."

A native of Springfield, Illinois, Stults has spent the last three seasons with the nationally-ranked Oklahoma State program as Director of Operations. During his time with the Cowboys and Cowgirls, Stults assisted with all on-campus recruiting activities, helped plan and implement daily practices and served as the race director of the Cowboy Jamboree. He also successfully bid and designed a course for the 2020 NCAA Championship during his second stint with the school.

Stults served as a volunteer assistant coach at Oklahoma State from 2009 to 2012 with the men's team claiming the 2009 and 2010 NCAA Championships and finishing second in 2011. He ran at Southeast Missouri State from 2004 to 2009 and was a two-time all-conference honoree, while helping the Redhawks to a trio of Ohio Valley Conference Championships.

"I am thrilled to join the Bradley University cross country and track & field teams," Stults said. "I am excited to return to my home state to join a program with huge potential and led by one of the best young coaches in the nation. I can't wait to get to work."

The premier distance program in the Missouri Valley Conference and one of the top schools in the Midwest, the Bradley men's team has won the last three MVC Cross Country Championships with the women's program claiming three of the last four.
