DEKALB, IL – Bradley Tennis is bringing a hardware haul home from its season-opening tournament. The Braves swept all four singles flights and added a fifth flight championship in doubles play, winning five of the six overall flights at the NIU Huskie Invite Saturday at West Tennis Courts.

Sandra Maletin (Red), junior
Natalia Barbery (Black) and freshman
Nikki Perlwitz (White) all completed their singles flight competition by winning their championship matches Saturday, while sophomore
Kinga Kovacs added a Saturday victory to her Friday triumph to win the Round Robin singles draw.
In double action, both Bradley teams – Barbery/Maletin and
Bozana Lojpur/
Malini Wijesinghe – advanced to the Red Doubles final, with the Barbery/Maletin combo taking the crown.
Bradley Tennis will continue its fall tournament season in two weeks by hosting the Bradley Invitational Sept. 21-23 on campus at the David Markin Tennis Courts.
