OMAHA, NE – Bradley Soccer's 3-game road trip has been reduced to two games after Tuesday's visit to Omaha for a noon kickoff was cancelled due to travel issues.  The game will not be made up this year.

The Braves had planned to travel from Evansville, IN, following Sunday's road game against the Purple Aces directly to Omaha, but have been unable to complete the trip Monday due to mechanical issues with their bus.

Coming off Sunday's 1-0 win at Evansville, Bradley (4-4-3, 3-2-1 MVC) now will return to action by hosting #14 Missouri State (11-0-0, 5-0-0 MVC) Saturday night at Shea Stadium.  The Bears will enter Saturday's game as the nation's lone unbeaten and untied team and will travel to Peoria sitting atop the league standings with 15 points, five ahead of Bradley (10) and Loyola Chicago (3-1-1, 10 points).

Bradley will play its final four Missouri Valley Conference games at Shea Stadium, the first three in succession, starting Saturday night against Missouri State.  The Braves will welcome Loyola Chicago Oct. 23 (7 p.m.) and Valparaiso Oct. 27 (1 p.m.), before hitting the road for their final two non-conference games Nov. 1 at Northern Kentucky and Nov. 4 at Western Illinois.  Evansville will visit Peoria Nov. 9 for the regular-season finale.

In addition to its status as the nation's lone remaining perfect team, Missouri State completed this past weekend ranked as high as No. 14 nationally.  The Bears will become the first nationally-ranked team to visit Shea Stadium since #16 Utah Valley Sept. 4, 2016 and likely will be Bradley's highest-ranked home opponent since #6 Cal State Northridge visited Shea Stadium Sept. 28, 2013.  Overall, Bradley is 3-9-1 all-time at home against national top-10 opponents with its most-recent home win against a top 10 team a 3-2 decision against #5 Notre Dame Sept. 19, 2002 at Morton's McClallen Park.
