HOT SPRINGS, Ark. -- Senior Taylor Ledwein turned in her third consecutive sub-par round with a one-under 71 to close the day tied for third in the individual standings and Bradley Women's Golf sits in second in the team standings after the second-lowest round in school history during Monday's action at the Little Rock Classic.

Ledwein helped pace a Bradley squad which fired a one-under 287 Monday for the team's lowest round since shooting a program record four-under 284 in the opening round of the Cardinal Classic in Yorktown, Ind., back on Sept. 18, 2017.  The Braves combined for 19 birdies during Monday's second round at the par-72 Diamante Country Club and have a tournament-best 28 birdies for the event.

Bradley's one-under 287 moved the team up one spot into second in the standings at six-over 582 with the Braves five shots back of Western Kentucky (577) for the top spot.  UTEP is third overall, three strokes behind Bradley at 585, while California Baptist closed the day fourth in the 17-team field at 586.

For the first time in school history four Braves shot par or better in the same round, led by Ledwein's one-under 71.  She is tied for third overall at three-under 141 heading into Tuesday's final round, five shots back of individual leader Valeria Mendizabal of UTEP, who fired a seven-under 65 Monday and is eight-under for the tournament (136).  Western Kentucky's Mary Joiner is one shot ahead of Ledwein in second at four-under 140.

While Ledwein collected five birdies during Monday's second round, she was far from the only Brave to have a strong second day.  In fact, senior Megan Medinger, freshman Mara Flaherty and Megan Welch each carded 72's Monday.

Medinger, who has seven birdies for the tournament, opened the day with a birdie and fired three more on the back nine as her second-round 72 was her lowest round dating back to the first round of the season when she shot a career-best 70.  In search of second top-10 finish of the year, Medinger is tied for 11th overall at one-over 145 heading into the final round.

Flaherty was two-under through seven holes and finished the day with three birdies, posting a season-best round of 72.  Four shots better than Monday's opening round, Flaherty moved into a tie for 19th overall with Welch at four-over 148.  Welch also improved on her first round score by four shots after carding what was then a career-best 76 in Sunday's opening round.

Junior Maddie Hawkins rounded out the team scoring for the Braves with a three-over 75 Monday, which included four birdies.  Hawkins sits at seven-over 151 in a tie for 45th overall.

The final round of the Little Rock Classic tees off Tuesday morning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
