HOT SPRINGS, Ark. -- For the fourth consecutive round Taylor Ledwein shot par or better as the senior wrapped up play at the Little Rock Classic with a final round 72 Tuesday to help Bradley Women's Golf finish out the fall schedule with a second-place team finish in the 17-team field.

After a second-place finish at last week's Chippewa Invitational, Ledwein tied for second in the field at the par-72 Diamante Country Club; carding five birdies during a third-round 72 as she finished at three-under 213 for the event.  Her three-under 213 tied for the third-lowest 54-hole score in school history and was the best by a Brave dating back to Danielle Lemek's 213 at the Cardinal Cup in Louisville, Ky., during the 2014-15 campaign. Valeria Mendizabal of UTEP claimed medalist honors by five strokes, finishing at eight-under 208.

The Braves wrapped up play with a 299 Tuesday, marking the second time in school history Bradley shot 300 or better in all three rounds of a tournament with BU finishing second overall at 881.  Western Kentucky, which shot a tournament-record 12-over 876, won the team title with Bradley's 881 ranking second in tournament history in addition to ranking as the second-lowest 54-hole score in team history behind only an 876 shot by the Braves at the 2017-18 Cardinal Classic in Yorktown, Ind.  Cal Baptist was third overall at 886, while Jacksonville State took fourth overall at 890.

In addition to Ledwein's 15th career top-10 finish, sophomore Megan Welch earned her second career top-20 finish.  Welch followed up a career-best round of 72 from Monday's round with a three-over 75 to finish 10 shots back of Ledwein (223) in a tie for 19th for her second straight top-20 showing.

Freshman Mara Flaherty capped a strong fall season which saw her post a 77.57 stroke average, by tying for 26th overall at 225, two back of Welch.  Flaherty posted a 77 during Tuesday's action.

Junior Maddie Hawkins matched her second round score with a three-over 75 on the final day, tying for 34th overall at 226.  Senior Megan Medinger completed the team scoring for Bradley at 227, tying for 39th after turning in a third-round 82.

Ledwein is the first Bradley individual to shoot 72 or better in four consecutive rounds since Lemek did so in 2014-15 and now has 15 career rounds of 72 or better.  She wrapped up the fall with a 71.60 stroke average in her two events.

The Braves will open the 2020 spring schedule Feb. 21-23 at the Rio Verde Invitational in Rio Verde, Ariz.
