HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, KY – Northern Kentucky scored early and then poured in four late goals to earn a 5-0 non-conference men's soccer win against visiting Bradley (5-6-4) Friday night at NKU Soccer Stadium.

The Norse (6-10-1) grabbed the early lead when Alex Willis found the back of the net at 6:45.  While using 19 players in the first half, the Braves held tight the rest of the period and then opened the second half with a flurry.  Northern Kentucky keeper Baj Mann handled the early pressure in the second half.  Once getting things back under control, the Norse opened up its offensive attack with four goals in a span of 15 minutes.

The highlight of the NKU came when the Norse scored twice in a span of 23 seconds to break the game open.  Willis' second goal of the night at 69:48 gave the Norse a 2-0 lead and Alex Grieve followed with the first of his two goals at 70:11 for a sudden 3-0 advantage.  The 23-second span between goals is the third-shortest amount of time between opponent goals in Bradley history.

The Norse had one more scoring flurry in them as Gianni Bouzoukis made it 4-0 at 84:32 and Grieve again had the quick follow, netting the final goal just 1-minute, 22-second later at 84:54.

Bradley, which had posted a 4-2-1 record in October, will look to get back on track when it closes out the non-conference season Monday afternoon at Western Illinois.  Kickoff versus the Leathernecks is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Mackenzie Alumni Field.
