Track Kicks Off Campaign at EIU Early Bird Invite

The Bradley track team got an early start to the 2019-20 season, setting six top-10 marks in school history at the EIU Early Bird on Friday.

Hannah Ivy and Keina Suggs both posted top-10 times in school history in the 60m and 200 dashes. Ivy now owns the sixth-fastest time in the 60m at 8.14 and the eighth-best mark in the 200m at 26.73, while Suggs is seventh in the 60m at 8.16 and 10th in the 200m at 26.96.

Soren Umali topped her PR by two hundredths of a second in the 60m hurdles to improve the sixth-best time in school history at 9.31.

Finally, Laura Stuart added the seventh-best mark in the long jump and the longest by a Brave in four seasons with a distance of 5.03m.

The Braves are now off for more than a month, returning to action on Jan. 18 at Eastern Illinois' John Craft Invite.
