Braves Clock Three Top-10 Times at Notre Dame

The Bradley track teams opened competition at Notre Dame's Meyo Invitational by posting three top-10 times in the 5,000m run on Friday.
 
Redshirt freshman Jack Franklin and sophomore Ben Wagoner led the BU men at Notre Dame. Franklin clocked the seventh-best time in Bradley history with a mark of 14:51.15, while Wagoner closely followed for the eight-best time in 14:51.86.
 
Freshman Drew Wenger also recorded a sub-15 minute time in the event with a mark of 14:59.13.
 
Freshman Tyler Schwartz led the Bradley women by running the 5,000m in 17:23.25 for the ninth-best time in school history. Overall, three additional Braves posted PR times in the event, with Gabby Juarez recording a mark of 17:48.03 in her first running of the 5,000m during her collegiate career, while Abby Jockisch and Morgan Lain crossed the finish line in 17:48.77 and 18:31.11, respectively.
 
The Braves wrap up the Meyo Invitational tomorrow with the action beginning at 9 a.m. CT.
