Bradley Athletics To Host Women In Sports Networking Night

PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Athletics will host its inaugural Women In Sports Networking Night prior to the Feb. 28 Bradley Women's Basketball game against Valparaiso, which will be played at 7 p.m. at Renaissance Coliseum.

The event is open to anyone interested in pursuing a career in sports and will begin at 5 p.m. in Renaissance Coliseum's Zobrist Room with registration and networking opportunities. The highlight of the event features a panel discussion of women working in professional sports or collegiate athletics, moderated by Bradley University Assistant Professor of Sports Communication Dr. Dunja Antunovic, starting at 6 p.m.

Scheduled to speak on the panel are Bradley Senior Associate Athletic Director for Academics and Student Development/SWA Jen Jones, Peoria Rivermen Assistant General Manager Katie Pogeman, Illinois Central College Director of Athletics and Physical Education Sue Sinclair and Director of Ticket Sales for the Peoria Chiefs Kate Voss.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students or educators (must have a .edu email address) and includes the networking event, panel, a light snack and a ticket to the women's basketball game. Purchase tickets HERE.
