PEORIA, Ill. -- Expected inclement weather in the Knoxville, Tenn., area Friday and early Saturday have forced schedule changes for Bradley Softball this weekend at the Tennessee Invitational.

The three-day tournament was originally scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Tennessee's Sherri Parker Lee Softball Stadium, but has moved to Saturday, Sunday and Monday due to the forecast.  The Braves were slated to play two games against Kansas along with single contests against #7 Tennessee, Louisville and Virginia.  Instead, Bradley will now play two games against Louisville and single games against the other three squads.

Tournament-play gets underway Saturday with a 1:30 p.m. (CST) contest against Louisville and the Braves face Kansas that same day at 4 p.m. (CST).

Sunday's action starts with an 11 a.m. (CST) game vs. tournament host and 7th-ranked Tennessee.  After a break, Bradley takes the field again Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. (CST) for a rematch with Louisville.

The Braves close out the tournament Monday with an 8:30 a.m. (CST) matchup against Virginia.

Bradley is 5-5 on the year after going 4-1 at last weekend's Troy Cox Classic in Las Cruces, N.M.  The Braves slugged 22 home runs in the five games at the Troy Cox Classic and lead the nation in home runs per game at 2.20 per contest.
