Bradley Spring Invitational Cancelled

PEORIA, Ill. -- Wet course conditions and rain forecast for the Peoria, Ill., area for the next few days has forced the cancellation of the Bradley Spring Invitational announced Wednesday.

The Bradley Men's and Women's Golf Teams were both scheduled to host eight-team tournaments Saturday and Sunday at the par-72 WeaverRidge Golf Club. Rain forecast for Central Illinois later this week has forced the Braves to cancel both events.

The Bradley women have just one tournament remaining on the schedule before the Missouri Valley Conference Championship in Chesterton, Ind., in mid-April with the Braves traveling to Murray, Ky., for the Jan Weaver Invitational April 5 & 6.

The men's squad has three tournaments left on the schedule, including the MVC Championship (April 22 & 23), with the Braves returning to action in Nashville, Tenn., at the Ryman Hospitality Intercollegiate April 8 & 9.
