PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Men's Golf makes its first trip to the state of Mississippi in 15 years, with the Braves heading to West Point, Miss., for the Old Waverly Collegiate Championship hosted by Mississippi State Monday and Tuesday for the team's final tournament before the Missouri Valley Conference Championship later this month.

Play at the par-72 Old Waverly Golf Club gets under way Monday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start for the 36-hole day of competition.  Tuesday's final round features tee times starting at 8 a.m.

Bradley has not played in the state of Mississippi since opening the 2004 Spring schedule at the Jackson State Golf Classic in Philadelphia, Miss.

The Old Waverly Collegiate features one of the strongest fields the Braves have seen in 2018-19, with three teams ranked in the top 60 of the latest Golfweek.com rankings, highlighted by #4 Vanderbilt, and a total of five teams in the top 100.  SEC members Ole Miss (#50) and tournament-host Mississippi State (#56) help headline the 15-team tournament which also includes #87 Memphis and #92 South Alabama.

Bradley will also square off with Chattanooga, Lipscomb, Little Rock, Louisiana, Louisiana-Monroe, Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee State, South Dakota and Southern Miss in the final regular-season outing of the year.

Junior Charles Jahn is coming off the best finish of his collegiate career after tying for third at the Ryman Hospitality Intercollegiate in Nashville, Tenn., earlier this week.  Jahn lowered his team-best season stroke average to 72.71, which would be a new school season mark and owns a 71.75 average over the last two tournaments.  He is the only individual to place among Bradley's top three finishers in all eight tournaments this year.

Senior Michael Mounce has fired a 74 or better in five consecutive rounds and seven of his last eight dating back to the fall.  In fact, Mounce has a team-best 16 rounds of 74 or lower and his career-best stroke average of 73.33 would rank seventh among Bradley season marks.  He has posted back-to-back top-20 finishes and placed in the top 20 in three of the last four outings.

Fellow senior Drake Bushong is also close to breaking his own school season stroke average mark of 73.03 set during his freshman season of 2015-16.  Bushong owns a 73.14 average on the year heading into his final regular-season tournament as a Brave.  He is fifth in Bradley history with 119 career rounds played and his 73.77 career stroke average is second all-time on The Hilltop.

Senior Daniel Lensing joins Bushong as the only four-time letterwinners on the 2018-19 roster for the Braves.  His 21 rounds played this season are one short of matching his career high of 22 set during his freshman season of 2014-15.  Currently fourth on the squad with a 73.71 stroke average, Lensing has improved by over a stroke-and-a-half from his 2017-18 average and is over two-and-a-half strokes better per round than his career average entering the year.

Senior Branden Mounce rounds out the Bradley lineup after pacing the squad in two of the first three spring outings.  After posting a 75.80 average in the fall, Branden owns a 74.33 average in six rounds this spring.  He owns a 75.38 average for the year.

The Braves follow up the Old Waverly Collegiate with the Missouri Valley Conference Championship at The Club at Porto Cima in Sunrise Beach, Mo., April 22 & 23.
