Bradley senior Will Anderson was honored for his work on and off the track on Tuesday as he was named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District Track & Field/Cross Country First Team. By earning the accolade, Anderson is now eligible for Academic All-America honors.

Anderson earned the recognition for the second-straight season at the district level. Last year, he also followed up by earning Academic All-America First Team accolades.

The senior enjoyed his most successful campaign in the Bradley Red & White. Anderson helped the Braves to their fourth-straight Missouri Valley Cross Country Championship and first team-appearance at the NCAA Championship in the fall. He received honorable mention to the all-conference team and then finished 33rd at the NCAA Midwest Regional to clinch the final national championship automatic bid for Bradley.

Anderson then earned all-conference accolades in track for the first time during his career when he placed third in the 3,000m run at the MVC Championship in addition to scoring in the 5,000m with a fifth-place mark. He was also recognized as the conference's Elite 17 Award Winner at the indoor meet for owning the top GPA by a student-athlete who earned all-conference honors.

Off the track, Anderson earned his degree in electrical engineering with a 3.97 grade point average.

Anderson is one of 10 student-athletes honored in District 5, which includes all Division I schools from the states of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. He is also one of five student-athletes from the Valley to earn the accolade.
