PEORIA, IL – With the 33rd season of Bradley Soccer set to kick off later this month, fans may now begin planning for some special events at Shea Stadium throughout the season, beginning with free admission for the Aug. 17 exhibition against former Missouri Valley Conference rival Creighton.

The Braves will host 10 preseason and regular-season games at Shea Stadium in 2019 and the complete schedule is available for viewing online at BradleyBraves.com.  Among the promotions planned this season:

Aug. 17 Exhibition vs. Creighton, 7:00 p.m. | Free admission
The Braves and Bluejays dominated The Valley together for the decade before the Bluejays departed for the Big East, combining to win 15 of the league's 20 regular-season and tournament championships from 2003-12.  All admission for the exhibition match between the former Valley rivals will be free.

Aug. 30 vs. Belmont, 7:00 p.m. | National College Colors Day, Red Out
Bradley's 2019 season opener falls on National College Colors Day and Bradley fans are asked to participate in the nationwide promotion with a Red Out at Shea Stadium.  Annually observed on the Friday before Labor Day, students, parents, family, fans and alumni across the nation are encouraged to display their team spirit on National College Colors Day.  Bradley fans are encouraged to wear red when the Braves take on one-time Missouri Valley Conference rival Belmont and post their favorite Bradley stories on social media using the hashtag #CollegeColorsDay.

Sept. 6 vs. IUPUI, 7:00 p.m. | Danny Dahlquist Memorial Game and Youth Soccer Night
The season-opening home stand will continue Sept. 6 when Bradley hosts former assistant coach Brian Barnett's IUPUI squad for the 11th Danny Dahlquist Memorial Game.  A Peoria native, Barnett was a member of Bradley head coach Jim DeRose's coaching staff from 2009-15.  Barnett is beginning his fourth year as the IUPUI head coach and he is assisted by another former Bradley assistant, Ronnie Bouemboue.

The annual memorial game is a tribute to former Brave Danny Dahlquist, who died weeks before the start of the 2007 season, with event proceeds benefitting the Danny Dahlquist Memorial Fund at Bradley University.  Previous opponents for the tribute game have included Creighton (twice), Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan State, Northwestern (twice), Notre Dame (twice) and Princeton.

As part of the Youth Soccer Night promotion, any youth soccer player in eighth grade or younger wearing their team jersey will receive free admission.  Complimentary tickets must be claimed on the day of the game from the Shea Stadium box office starting one hour prior to first-kick.  Adult prices are $6/each.

Sept. 13 vs. Eastern Illinois, 7:00 p.m. | Kaboom!'s Club Member Recognition
All members of the Kaboom!'s Club are invited to participate in a pregame recognition ceremony and will take the field with the Braves during pregame introductions.  To learn more about the Kaboom!'s Club, click the link beneath the Support menu at BradleyBraves.com or contact the Bradley Athletics Ticket Office (309-677-2625 or BradleyTicketOffice@bradley.edu).

Oct. 5 vs. Drake, 7:00 p.m. | Bradley University Homecoming
Bradley University's annual Homecoming week will culminate with the soccer game against MVC rival Drake.

Nov. 9 vs. Evansville, 2:00 p.m. | Senior Day and Fan Appreciation Day
