MADISON, Ill. – Redshirt senior Alex Ciaramitaro shot a final round 76 and finished 25th overall to pace Bradley at the Derek Dolenc Invitational Tuesday at Gateway National Golf Links.

The Braves finished 17th in the 54-hole tournament after posting a 26-over, 310 for the final 18 holes. Ciaramitaro, who is playing his first full season of golf following his four-year soccer career at Bradley, was even par for the first two rounds and played the front nine in just one over, but was four over on the back to finish at +5, 218 on the par 71 course outside St. Louis.

Freshmen Josh Kirkham and John Stillman, as well as junior Jalen Hodges, all shot 7 over 78 for the final round. Hodges finished 57th, Kirkham 59th and Stillman 80th.

UT Martin won the team championship by shooting even par for the three rounds, defeating fellow Ohio Valley Conference member Tennessee Tech by six strokes. Belmont was a distant third.

Bradley's second-round score of nine over par, 293 was the best for the young squad this fall. Head Coach Jeff Roche hopes to have that as a springboard to next week's Zach Johnson Invitational at the Glen Oaks Country Club in Des Moines.  The Braves have won the Zach Johnson Invite in each of the last two years (2016, 2018) they have competed in Drake's fall tournament.
