ST. LOUIS – With the traditional fall sports schedule shifted to the spring this year due to COVID-19, the Missouri Valley Conference has unveiled the men's soccer league schedule.

As originally planned during the fall season, the league's five men's soccer members will play a double, round-robin conference schedule with each team both hosting and visiting its four Valley rivals.  This summer, the NCAA determined it would host 2020 fall sports championship events in the spring and the MVC pivoted accordingly.  The 2020-21 MVC Men's Soccer Championship will be contested among the league's top four regular-season finishers April 13 and April 17.  The tournament's three games will be hosted by the higher seed for each game.

Bradley will kick off its 2020-21 MVC season Feb. 13 by visiting Missouri State.  The Braves will play consecutive Valley home games by hosting Loyola Chicago Feb. 20 and Drake Feb. 27 at Shea Stadium.  Bradley's two remaining MVC home games will be played March 19 against Missouri State and April 3 against Evansville.  The Braves will visit Evansville March 6, Loyola Chicago March 24 and Drake March 29.

All start times and potential non-conference games are to be determined.

The 2020-21 season will be the 25th for veteran Bradley Soccer head coach Jim DeRose, whose 250 career victories are second-most in Missouri Valley Conference Men's Soccer history.  The Braves figure to return 12 lettermen from their 2019 squad that posted an 8-7-4 overall record and finished third in the then 6-team Valley standings with a 5-3-2 league ledger.

Valparaiso dropped its men's soccer program last spring, leaving The Valley with five men's soccer programs until SIU Edwardsville returns as an affiliate member in the sport, beginning with the 2021 fall season.
